Marketing Strategies to Connect to Customers & Build Profit
Nancy is a business and marketing strategist with over 30 years experience in business development, entrepreneurship, retail, marketing, strategic planning, wholesale, product development, customer service, training & manufacturing in a diverse range of environments & product categories, in Australia, Asia, USA and Europe.
She is a keynote speaker and trainer on a wide range of topics that are focused on all aspects of customer / community engagement; The New Customer, Strategic Planning, Social Media, Website & E-Commerce, Customer Service and Retail Fundamentals.
Nancy’s expertise in all areas of business, strategy, marketing, digital integration and retail, ensure that she is able to address and develop client’s needs to ensure the business’ growth and profitability.
She works with Businesses, Associations, Shopping Centres, Councils, Chambers of Commerce, Retailers, Manufacturers & Service Providers on all aspects of their business based on her practical experience and education. Nancy saw the need for business development and strategic support in her 12 years as a wholesaler, so wound down her business to start life as a consultant.
Facilitating company events, executive management meetings, staff training and strategic sessions is something that has evolved from her management and customer service training. The ability to analyse, hear and guide clients and their teams is one that yield positive and effective results for clients as they build their business and develop the skills in it.
In addition to one on one client work, Nancy also works on collaborations and as part of external teams and agencies. Her skill set is one that has been honed in customer facing businesses and projects. As such, she adds a wholisic strategic view to others’ more specialised skills.
Nancy is a social media expert, she gained knowledge through using the tools in her businesses. She shares this skill and know-how with clients, at conferences, seminars, workshops and masterclasses. Learning one topic / skill is not enough. SMEs and business owners need consistent and constant support to learn, implement and develop the tools and skills in their business.
The Business Crew, was created to meet this need. A monthly meeting designed to support empower and encourage SMEs & business owners to navigate their way through the new connected marketplace and create their own advisory ‘boards’.
Nancy created Innovation Pitchfest in 2015, a world first event, to reward & promote design and innovation in product design and invention. The event supports the industry in Australia & internationally. “We need to champion & support Australian designers and businesses in the absence of a local manufacturing industry.” Following the first delegation to Hong Kong in December 2016, Nancy is now developing a platform to support designers in all activities from creative to commercial.
Nancy started Social Media Women in 2010, to create more informed and connected social media users. She organised monthly meetups in Sydney with invited experts from all fields to share their journey and share information.
This was a need at the time, to support women to find their voice and develop their skills.
Nancy wrote “7 Powerful Ways to Boost Retail Profits, In Any Economic Climate” ,in 2010, to help retailers reconnect with the basic fundamentals of a successful retail business. Update coming soon.

Testimonials
What an action-packed day! From start to finish, Nancy gave a high energy and engaging presentation which left everyone’s head spinning! Spinning full of ideas, enthusiasm and renewed energy for their business. You really feel like Nancy is a true ambassador, fighting the corner for the smaller retailers and wholesalers out there. Her insights into the social networking arena opened up a whole new world of possibility. Nancy’s passion for this business is very clear and infectious and her style very natural with a perfect balance of authority and humour. It was certainly time and money well spent and it left me with a nice warm feeling that I am not alone out there!

Having only just launched online and thus, only being at the very tip of the social media iceberg, Nancy’s seminar “Show Me the Trolley” was fantastic. The pace, the content, the enthusiasm and the practicality of the information she provided was all excellent and I walked away from that very brief introduction with a far better understanding of how it all works and a huge amount of work to do, which I am thrilled about. It’s great to feel as if someone has given you the tools to move forward.

Thank you for a very informative seminar! The door to social media in my business has been some what closed for me, mainly due to the fact that I have not understood how it all actually works. You have opened that door, and the possibilities and opportunities I now see are exciting and endless! I cant wait to get my business up to speed with the Social Media world!
