Let’s Chat! How are you preparing for the C-Word?

Nancy GeorgesSelf Care

Quick question: What are you doing to be kind to yourself between now and the C word?

Christmas is a crazy time but mainly because we have been ‘trained’ by media & marketing!!

I think we put too much pressure on ourselves at this time of the year, and we start to have the freakout zone between now and then. So what are you doing that’s going to help and to be kind to yourself?

I, for one, am making sure that I can finish what I can finish and being realistic about what that means in the timeframe. So I pretty much have scheduled work for every single day. I have a calendar of what needs to be done between now and Christmas.

I am not trying to see every person on the planet that I know between now and Christmas because that’s ridiculous. I also like to catch up with people in January when we’ve got a bit more time and energy and we can just have a little bit of a breathe out.

I prioritise Christmas cards. I love sending them, love getting them.

What do you do? I’m interested.
