Nancy GeorgesMaking Sense of Politics Podcast, Nancy Georges, podcast

We’ve had such amazing feedback for our podcast! I am so incredibly proud of my new project with the AMAZING Kate Carruthers: Making Sense of Politics Podcast.

Watch Episode 2 below. Find more podcasts and clips on our Youtube Channel here. We would love to Connect with you on our socials, more here.

In this episode of the Making Sense of Politics podcast, we discuss the recent 2025 federal election results in Australia, focusing on the implications for the Liberal Party, the role of social media in political campaigns, and the influence of women in politics. We explore the challenges faced by the Greens and Community Independents, the importance of transparency in political donations, and the need for a clear vision from political parties. The conversation also touches on the impact of technology on government efficiency and concludes with a heartwarming good news story.

The podcast is our safe space for chatting politics from all sides. We have been talking about politics for many years, trying to make sense of it all. We have come across many other folks who are trying to do the same thing online and off.
We believe that a more informed engaged community creates a better country and a more accountable government. The last few years have shown us that politicians and government don’t always make the best decisions for constituents. What more can we do to create a better Australia?
So our new podcast, Making Sense of Politics, is born!
We will be seeing you monthly, video and audio, chatting about the current political landscape in Australia!

We would love to hear from you! Anything you would like to know more about? Any questions you have?
We promise to not be boring! See you soon 🙂
