Radiant Orchid: Pantone Colour of the Year 2014
Every year Pantone announce the colour of the year! At the end of 2013, they declared that 2014 was the year for Radiant Orchid!
Pantone tell us:
“Radiant Orchid blooms with confidence and magical warmth that intrigues the eye and sparks the imagination. It is an expressive, creative and embracing purple—one that draws you in with its beguiling charm. A captivating harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, Radiant Orchid emanates great joy, love and health.” Read the press release here.

Pantone is the global color authority and provider of professional color standards for the design industries. “Pantone products have encouraged colorful exploration and expressions of creativity from inspiration to implementation for more than 50 years.” according to their press release.
